We have the following positions available in our agency as of March 25th, 2022:

      1. Full-time House Manager –
        • Finksburg – Monday thru Friday 3 to 11 PM
        • Some Admin. duties, supervision, and direct care; management of household, staff, and individuals needs. May include extra hours.
        • Salary – $20/hour with benefits
      2. Full-time Weekend –
        • Westminster – Friday 3 to 10 PM, Saturday 7 AM to 10 PM and Sunday 7 AM to 12 AM
        • Salary – $17/hour with benefits
      3. Full-Time Evening –
        • Westminster – Monday thru Friday 3 to 9 PM
        • Salary – $17/hour with benefits
      4. Full-Time Day –
        • Westminster – Monday Thru Friday 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM
        • Salary – $17/hour with benefits
      5. Part-Time Awake Overnight –
        • Westminster – Friday and Saturday 11 PM to 7 AM and Monday 12 to 9 AM
        • Westminster – Friday 12 to 9 AM, Friday 11 PM to Saturday 7 AM, Saturday 11 PM to Sunday 7 AM
        • Salary – $17/hour
        • Part-Time Weekend –
          • Westminster – Saturday 10 AM to 9 PM and Sunday 12 to 9 PM
          • Westminster – Saturday and Sunday 11 AM to 7 PM
          • Westminster – Saturday and Sunday 11 AM to 8 PM
          • Salary – $16/hour
        • Substitutes – Residential and Day
          • Work a flexible schedule at any of our 8 houses
          • Salary – $15/hour

    About Flying Colors of Success, Inc. (FCS, Inc.)

    FCS, Inc. is a private, non-profit agency that provides community-based residential and day services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Currently, FCS, Inc. owns and operates eight homes throughout Carroll County. Three or four individuals live in each home along with support staff. FCS, Inc. strives to provide individualized programs and services to meet individual’s needs and to empower them to live as independently as possible.

    Employment Requirements:

    High School Diploma or equivalent, Valid Driver’s License, Criminal Background and Driving Record Checks, and Drug Testing.

    House Manager

    • Education requirements: Prefer some previous experience with individuals with disabilities.
    • Must have a clear driving record and own transportation.
    • Benefits include option for free room and board.
    • House Managers must be able to work Monday through Friday nights (some daytime).
    • Responsibilities include meeting the health and emotional needs of the individuals served, carry out Individuals Plans including Outcomes and Goals, scheduling medical appointments and providing transportation to appointments, maintaining day to day operations of the home such as financial, cleanliness, grocery shopping, and maintenance. Provide supervision, support and training to other support staff. Complete all required written paperwork for each individual and the house.

    Assistant Floater

    • Requires filling in, in the absence of a House Manager or other staff, at any of the 8 homes operated by FCS, Inc. with some of the same responsibilities as House Manager.
    • Must be very flexible in scheduling and includes overnights and weekends.

    Community Living Assistant (CLA)

    • PT/FT: during the week; weekends, with some overnights; and awake overnights.
    • Benefits for all full time staff.
    • This position serves as support for the House Manager.
    • Responsibilities include providing personal hygiene care and supervision to the individuals served, plan and participate in community activities, provide assistance in cooking, cleaning, and laundry as needed to maintain the house, and complete necessary paperwork such as Outcomes and Goals.


    • This position fills in, in the absence of other staff. Must work at least twice a month. Same responsibilities as CLA.
    • Needs to be flexible and able to work at any of the 8 homes during different shifts.
    • This position is great for college students or people looking for a part-time job with a flexible schedule.
